Greed is probably the only sin Isaac is truly familiar with. Allusions to gambling, to suicide, to poverty and hardship, to the simple act of coining the eyes of the dead. Greed is a huge theme of the game, and the franchise as a whole. The only sin that has any long-running implications is Greed, which clearly has importance throughout. This is all the logic of a five year old in a secluded, poor family. Video Games are some of the only cultural influence Isaac has, and Wraith being affiliated with War and Violence, Isaac affiliating Bomberman with War and Violence means that Bomberman is Wraithful, and Wraith is Bomberman. If Isaac stomps out his growing wants, he won't be guilty of Envy. 'I want money' becomes 'I want these things that need money' becomes 'I want these specific variations of these things that need money.' Money is just an example, but Isaac being reductive thinks that Envy is simply becoming more and more, thus the vaguely frustrated Asteroid we see now. This reskinned Globin is Isaac's own tangible laziness, and being reductive, attacks it to fight his sins.Д®nvy splitting into multiple smaller things is indicative of it spready to smaller and smaller things. Again, the entire game, and all inside of it, are a story made by Isaac. A lazy, reskinned Globin that doesn't even really fight creatively or for himself, making Maggots fight for him.

No matter how much it's beaten into him by Mom and her 'Christian Broadcasts,' he will not understand any of this at his age. Super Pride may have some correlation to Gay Pride, or pride in sexuality at all, but again, Isaac is five. Isaac doesn't understand the concept of Pride, and this is his most reductive image of it. Pride is made out to be Loud and Big and Scary. Again, Isaac (who hasn't even gone through puberty yet) believe that Lust is Attraction, and that Attraction is Lust, and again is afraid of this being the consequences, despite having little understanding of the sin in question.

Super Lust has this aspect more diseased, with bruises, swelling, and a bullet through the head. Lust is based off a story of a prostitute, though the details escape me. Isaac is a five year old, and not everything in his story makes perfect sense. A common trend through Isaac's story is a reductive and backwards logic to fighting against his own sins and ego. Isaac believes he is guilty of Gluttony, and that this is his ultimate fate if he does not fight against it. He has literally overeaten to bursting, which is not as uncommon as you'd hope, and realistically, there is no other more indicative of gluttony than eating till you physically explode. Gluttony and Super Gluttony is just a fat guy. Looking at the Base sins, or not having the context of the game, can be a bit confusing, but it's actually got a lot of mechanical and visual themes across the bunch. These are made clearer with the Super and Ultra Variants. This is going to be weird to hear, but Edmund confirmed that all the sins bar Ultra Pride are aspects of Isaac personified by Isaac's imagination, as with all things in the game.
